Day 1 :

Upon arriving at Marrakech Airport, we'll proceed to our hotel for check-in. If you arrive early, take the opportunity to explore the old medina with its charming narrow streets and the bustling Djamaa El Fena square. We'll spend the night at the hotel.

After breakfast, we will begin our journey by traversing the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco and reaching the historic village of Ait Benhaddou. This village served as a crucial stop for caravans in ancient times, leading to its designation as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Additionally, it has been featured as a backdrop in numerous international films, including "Gladiator," "Prince of Persia," and "Game of Thrones." Not far from Ait Benhaddou lies Ouarzazate, a city in southern Morocco often referred to as the "Hollywood of North Africa" due to the many movies filmed in its studios. En route to Boumalen Dades, our overnight stop, we will pass through the Roses Valley, a stunning and lush valley renowned for its Damaskina Roses. Each year, a festival is held here to celebrate the rose harvest. We will spend the night at a hotel in Boumalen Dades.

After breakfast, we will travel eastward toward the Sahara. Along the way, we will marvel at the stunning Toudra Gorges, often called the Grand Canyon of Morocco. Following lunch, our journey continues to Erfoud, renowned for its fossils and fossilized marble. We will make a lunch stop in Rissani. Upon reaching the Sahara Desert, we will switch to camels for a ride across the sand dunes to reach the Berber camp where we will spend the night. For those unable to ride camels, there is the option to take a 4WD vehicle to the camp for an additional cost. Upon arrival at the camp, you will have some free time before dinner. We will stay overnight at the Desert experience camp or a similar accommodation.

Following breakfast and a refreshing shower at the Berber camp, we will journey through Errachidia and the ZIZ valley, renowned for its abundant date palms. Our route will then take us through the High and Middle Atlas Mountains, which act as a natural barrier between the Sahara Desert and the interior regions of the country. Finally, we will arrive in Fes, the oldest capital of Morocco, where we will spend the night at a hotel.

Today, we embark on a guided tour of Fes, which is recognized as the oldest and largest medieval city globally. Its bustling medina, inhabited by 400,000 residents and accessible only by donkeys and bikes, offers a captivating blend of scents, sights, and sounds. There are numerous mosques and palaces to explore. After immersing ourselves in the vibrant atmosphere of the dye-pits, tanneries, pottery shops, and local eateries, we will return to our hotel to freshen up for the evening. Tonight, we have the opportunity to enjoy a traditional meal and entertainment in the city, featuring live Moroccan performances such as traditional dancing, belly dancing, and magic shows. We will spend the night at a hotel.

Following breakfast, we will journey towards Chefchaouen, often referred to as the "Blue City." This charming town is a popular tourist destination situated in the Rif Mountains, just south of the Mediterranean coastline in northwest Morocco. Known for its traditional architecture, Chefchaouen is characterized by its white and blue-washed buildings. Take a leisurely stroll through the medina to admire the unique native handicrafts offered in the markets. Chefchaouen is a picturesque destination, offering stunning views of the Rif Mountains, making it a paradise for photographers. We will dine at one of the local restaurants in the medina before returning to our hotel for the night. Overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast and a a couple of hours in the Blue Pearl (Chefchaouen) we’ll drive to Rabat, Morocco’s capital, to explore its main sights and attractions. There, you may choose to have lunch before continuing to the largest city in Morocco, Casablanca, where we’ll spend the night.
