Starting from Ouarzazate airport, your journey to Dades Valley includes a drive through Ouarzazate city, renowned as the "Gateway to the Sahara," and a visit to the impressive Kasbah Amridil. This ancient fortress showcases traditional Moroccan architecture. Continuing through the rugged desert landscape, you'll reach Dades Valley, known for its stunning rock formations and ancient kasbahs. Explore the valley's picturesque scenery, which includes lush palm groves and Berber villages, for a memorable experience. Overnight stay in a local Guest House/Hotel.

Here, we’ll continue our tour to visit the Todra Gorge, a colorful, awe inspiring narrow canyon. We’ll continue through the Ziz Valley to reach Erfoud, an oasis town known as the start of the Sahara desert and recognized for its unique fossils. There we can visit local producers who lovingly create artisanal, hand crafted house decor made from fossils and fossilised rock. There is also a local shop where you may purchase such items as souvenirs if you wish.

Then, we’ll drive towards Rissani, where we’ll visit the local souk and drive towards the edge of the desert to reach Merzouga. On arrival there is time to prepare yourself at a guest house ready for our camel ride into the desert dunes. Accompanied by experienced camel caravan guides we arrive at the Merzouga Desert Camp where we’ll stay overnight in luxurious, en-suite tents. This spectacular night will be rendered unforgettable with a unique and traditional Berber dinner topped off by tribal music around a starlit desert campfire.

Optional early wake up for the spectacular sunrise. Breakfast, then we take a 4x4 ride back to the car and drive West towards Alnif visiting the Nkeb oasis before returning to Ouarzazate. Visit the Atlas film Studios located 5 kilometers West of the city of Ouarzazate. Measured by acreage it is the world's largest film studio and was the setting for such films as Gladiator and Indiana Jones. Most of the property lies in the nearby desert and mountains. Drive to Aitbenhaddou Kasbah and overnight stay in a comfortable local guest house.

After breakfast we continue our journey from Ait Benhaddou to Marrakech, a day filled with enchanting landscapes and cultural discoveries. Begin by exploring the ancient Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its well-preserved mud-brick architecture that has served as the backdrop for numerous films and TV shows. Wander through the winding streets of this historic fortress, marvelling at its intricate details and stunning views of the surrounding desert landscape. Afterward, continue your journey through the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains, passing through picturesque valleys and traditional Berber villages. Arrive in Marrakech, where the vibrant sights and sounds of the city await, offering a perfect end to a day filled with adventure and exploration.
